Music has always been life for me. 

I started making beats in 2006 after graduating high school, building on years spent playing in band and drumline. What began as MAZE, a name derived from my initials, eventually evolved into MazeWest inspired by my admiration for Kanye West's production style, fasion and creative approach. 

My sound has never really fit into one box. Hip-hop, R&B, funk, pop and electronic music have all found their way into my production, but one influence has remained especially close to me: the talkbox. Inspired by ZAPP and the legendary Roger Troutman, I eventually brought the talkbox from an influence in my headphones to an instrument in my own music and performances. 

My journey has taken me through production, DJing, beat challenges, collaborations and building community among Las Vegas musicians. In 2018, I helped bring the BeatStars Meetup – Las Vegas community together, creating a space for producers, artists and singers to connect, collaborate and build together. 

But in many ways, I'm just getting started. 

Today, I'm focused on writing songs, collaborating with artists and creating music that I can call my own—songs written and produced by me, for me. After years behind the scenes as a producer, I'm stepping further into the artist side of MazeWest, with new music and live shows on the horizon. 

I'm still making music. Still learning. Still evolving.
